I never discuss politics, religion or money. I hate reading blogs ranting about political beliefs and I avoid talk radio like the plague. Yet even knowing this about me, my closest friends still pester me for my political opinions and insights on the upcoming election. So I have put a lot of thought into how I will cast my vote. Basically I have narrowed it down to four people I feel are qualified & I would love to have as President. I would definitely like to vote for a woman. But there is a legality I cannot get past and that is Jane Goodall is not an American citizen, so she is out of the running. That leaves me with three choices, which quickly becomes two as Mr. Rogers is dead. So I am back to my two original choices. I could not decide which one of these fine men I was going to write-in and vote for, so I discussed it with Clyde-Pierre. He agrees with my choices and understands the conflict I am now faced with as my political views, beliefs & values are so closely aligned with BOTH men. I have suffered great mental anguish trying to make a decision but Pierre was a big help when he offered his insight. Although he agrees with and understands my desire to vote for John Lennon, he has advised me instead to go with my second choice of Willie Nelson, being as he is still actually alive and might have a better chance of getting elected. So I respect my son's guidance and advice and submit to you my vote for the presidential election this year will be... Willie Nelson. Vote for Willie! Peace.
Note of interest: Happy 75th Birthday to Yoko Ono this week! Yikes. Let me see, that would make me...

You nut!
People love you - they trust you - they value your thoughts which is why they ask. It isn't to badger you - so nanny-nanny-boo-boo.
This by far is my favorite political blog entry I have read.
