Saving Doh

I came across this article and wanted to share. (click on link below) It is full of tips on frugal living from The Simpsons. You have to read it, it's great. Since I haven't had time to write a new post of my own, I'll just borrow someone else's so you don't have to keep seeing Hell Week & Wolfgang's demented scary face. You're welcome. I am inspired. It doesn't take much. I intend to plan my entire grocery shopping list this week around the advice from this article. And no, I don't actually have a shopping list but am thinking it can't be any worse than the month that I only bought what the coupons told me to buy. That was fun & the cashier (usually Danielle) anxiously awaited to see what the coupons had conjured into my cart. I had to abandon that plan after the week when most of the coupons were condiments. I think that was Danielle's suggestion. We almost starved but still have an impressive selection of hot sauces and marinades. However...Donuts and beer are much closer to our actual purchasing and eating habits, so this one may work...

I don't think I've told you just how much you inspire me! I love reading your blog and looking for tidbits to carry over into my life in finding a new outlook on things. When are we going to read more about your animal friends???
